A .704 PERCUSSION SERVICE RIFLE, MODEL 'BRUNSWICK, SECOND MODEL', no visible serial number,
lock dated for 1861, with iron 30in. two-groove rifled barrel, boat-shaped fore-sight, rear-sight with one standing and one folding leaf, scarce variant bayonet bar with central locking notch mounted on the right side of muzzle, borderline engraved bar-action lock signed 'TOWER' with the date and a 'V.R.' crown device at tail (rubbed), walnut full-stock with brass furniture including large patchbox in butt, iron stirrup swivels and iron under-barrel ramrod (woodwork with some inlet repairs and age cracks, staining to iron surfaces)
