RIGBY & CO., LONDON, ENGLAND', short file cut sight rib with open sights and one folding leaf sight, matted finish with gold-inlaid sight lines and marked for 100 and 200 yards, block-mounted bead fore-sight with flip-up moonsight, the receiver (with thumb cutout and Mauser Oberndorf details) mounted with a Zeiss Victory HT 2,5-10x50 telescopic sight, serial no. 4354700, in quickly-detachable mounts, the rings with fine acanthus scroll engraving and the makers name and calibre designation, the receiver ring engraved 'RIGBY'S .375 H&H MAGNUM', bolt knob with chequered oval panels, recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release and engraved 'RIGBY CAL. .375 H&H' in a roundel, highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, carved art nouveau band to the rear, steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), horn finial, sling eyes, 14 1/8in. pull including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 5oz.
