for 1906, with slender tapering 17in. barrel, beaded blade fore-sight retaining its rare original spring steel protector, elevating notch rear-sight, rounded breech with the BSA 'piled arms' trademark and 'LOAD' in front of the tap aperture, short air chamber marked 'THE BSA AIR-RifLE - LINCOLN JEFFERIES PATENT, MADE BY THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS COMPANY LD.', one pin trigger-unit, chequered walnut saw-handled butt with the 'piled arms' trademark to the left side of stock, iron heel-plate, short cocking piece and spade under-lever, complete with a period canvas slip for same (distressed)
