A GOOD CASED 120-BORE PERCUSSION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY-BENTLEY TYPE', no visible serial number,
circa 1855, with blued octagonal 4 3/8in. barrel, tramlines engraved at muzzle, bead fore-sight, the top-flat signed 'WILLIAM EGAN, BRADFORD', articulated rammer mounted to left side of barrel, wingnut barrel release, borderline engraved blued open frame, plain blued cylinder with tramlines to leading edge, 'J' shaped safety spring, spur-less hammer, chequered walnut grips with saw-handle spur, iron butt-cap and guarded trigger, complete with its maker's walnut storage case lined and compartmented in green baize, parchment trade label inside lid and complete with a Robert Adams trademarked mould, a small Dixon bag shaped flask retaining virtually all its finish and a turned oil-bottle, the pistol and case contents appearing little used
