A RARE 54-BORE FLINTLOCK FOUR-BARRELLED 'DUCK'S FOOT' PISTOL, no visible serial number,
probably circa 1805, with four slightly tapering 2 1/2in. turn-off cannon barrels numbered '1' through '4' (three frozen), false rifling, borderline engraved shoulders with London proofs, squared boxlock central hammer action signed 'LAUGHER & SON' on the left, scroll engraving on the right, engraved top-tang, walnut slab-sided butt with silver wire scroll inlay and double rolled-edge iron trigger-guard bow safety (non functioning), cleaned with some loss to engraved detail.
