A GOOD .750 FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT MUSKET, MODEL 'BROWN BESS', no visible serial number,
circa 1810, with round 39in. barrel, block fore-sight, moulded band at breech, Tower proofs, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' at the tail and marked with a 'GR' crown device forwards of the hammer, walnut hand-rail three-quarter stock with brass furniture, iron stirrup swivels and iron ramrod, good condition complete with a period socket bayonet for same (pitted and stained, no scabbard)
