LONDON & CALCUTTA', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, the standing breech inlaid in white metal 'EJECTOR', automatic safety with white metal inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fully engraved with bold scrolling acanthus on a matt background, crosshatch, feather and vine bordering, sunburst fences, the left and right sides with lone hounds, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 3/4in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock with ornate chequering borders, the head with chequered heart and fleur de lys panels, with a 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, the fore-end chequered en suite, weight 6lb. 7oz., in a lightweight leather case with Lyon & Lyon trade label
