circa 1863-64, with round 7 1/2in. barrel, plain cylinder with recessed nipples, solid frame with replacement spring retaining catch for cylinder, the top-strap with traces of signature alongside the sighting groove, single action trigger-mechanism, smooth flared walnut grips and articulated under-barrel loading lever, traces of original finish in sheltered areas
