circa 1805, with tapering 9in. barrel, Tower proofs at breech, bevel-edged step-tailed lock (at fault) stamped with a crown over 'GR' forwards of the hammer and signed 'TOWER' at the rail, sliding safe behind the hammer, semi rain-proof pan, walnut full-stock with brass furniture including a working armourer's repair of an additional brass reinforcement band around the ramrod throat, the trigger-guard bow engraved 'K' over '68' and captive iron ramrod
