AN INDIAN TULWAR SABRE WITH KOFTGARI DECORATED HILT,
circa 1840, with 30in. curved blade, false edged for the last 9in. (some staining at tip), traces of a makers mark to right hand side of blade, drilled through and inlet with a yellow metal plug forwards of forte, moulded iron hilt retaining strong traces of floral koftgari designs, guard arms with domed finials, disk pommel also decorated with koftgari-work and central domed cap with spike, together with its plain leather scabbard with nickel chape and drag
