Provenance: This cabinet, formerly Sir Winston Churchill's wartime filing cabinet, specially reinforced to protect its contents from bomb damage, was moved to the Bodleian Library from Chartwell in 1963 and the archives were subsequently transferred to Churchill College, Cambridge in 1996.
