dated for 1863, with round 37in. barrel marked 'KERR'S PATENT' forwards of top-tang and the serial number to top of barrel, block and blade fore-sight with additional dove-tailed block (blade missing), missing ladder rear-sight and base, provision at wrist for vernier sight (absent), border engraved lock marked 'L.A.C. Co. over the date on bar and with a 'V.R.' crown device at tail, working replacement hammer from another, chequered walnut full-stock, iron furniture and three iron barrel-bands (one a replacement) and provision for under-barrel ram-rod (missing)
