A HAND-ENGRAVED .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR MKI', serial no. 47860,
circa 1932, with 7in. smoothbore barrel, blade fore-sight, adjustable notch rear-sight, engraved cocking link and breech-block, stepped air-chamber with borderline and scroll engraving around the make and model-details, borderline and scroll engraved frame and grip-straps, rotating safe above trigger, smooth walnut grips inlet with a 'winged bullet' medallion to the left, the whole with later gilding and housed in a later walnut case re-purposed for this pistol together with an oil-can, cleaning rod, pellets and spares

Other Notes: This and the following lot were hand engraved as project guns by Mr William Marshall, Scotland, circa 1999
