circa 1870, with octagonal 24in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, manual extractor to right hand side and barrel link to left, solid iron frame with integral fore-end, central hammer, walnut butt-stock, crescent heel-plate with lozenged spur, twin guarded triggers, the front one unlatching the barrel, strong amount of finish and traces of colour
