circa 1800, with shortened 24 3/4in. barrel, provision for fore-sight (missing), the breech engraved with a needle terminating in a starburst, shallow notch to the top-tang, gold lined touch-hole, borderline engraved bevel-edged step-tailed curved lock signed 'KNUBLEY' below the semi rainproof pan, roller frizzen, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist and mounted with a later peep-sight, oval escutcheon behind top-tang, iron heel-plate and furniture, replacement iron ramrod
