A CASED 54-BORE BEAUMONT-ADAMS PERCUSSION REVOLVER RETAILED BY BISHOP, LONDON, serial no. B16465,
circa 1860, with octagonal reblued 5 3/4in. barrel, the top-strap marked 'WILL'M BISHOP, 170 NEW BOND ST'T LONDON', plain five shot cylinder (nipples removed but present), borderline engraved solid frame, double action mechanism, chequered walnut saw-handle grip and articulated rammer, the whole refinished with some mild pitting; together with a possibly period walnut 'ten screw' storage case relined and compartmented in green baize and containing a brass L.A.C. marked mould, a copper bag-shaped flask, turnscrews, cap-tins, loading rod and oil bottle
