A GOOD .177 WEBLEY & SCOTT PRE-WAR 'MKI STRAIGHT GRIP' AIR-PISTOL, serial no. 29697,
circa 1929, with 7 1/8in. rifled barrel, blued stepped air-chamber, the right hand side marked 'WEBLEY AIR PISTOL MKI', 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and six lines of patents, the left side with five lines of patents and 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD. BIRMINGHAM & LONDON', four pin trigger group and trigger weight adjuster, rotating safe and smooth straight walnut grips with the Webley 'winged bullet' trademark medallion inlet into the left hand example, the whole with virtually all its original finish and appearing little used (some light surface speckling)
