A CASED .455 DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S No.5 EXPRESS', serial no. 5080,
circa 1885, with 5 1/2in. semi-octagonal barrel, crescent fore-sight, deep sighting groove to top-strap, solid frame marked '455 C.F. & .45 LONG', cylinder arbor release to front of frame, under-barrel ejector, fluted cylinder, iron grip-straps and chequered birdshead walnut grips with lanyard swivel at heel, overall length 11in., good amount of apparent original finish remaining and together with an English market oak case lined and fitted in green baize for this revolver, 'E.M. REILLY' trade label inside lid, cleaning rod, oil bottle and turnscrew, together with a fitted cartridge tray to interior
