AN 8mm x 60R (KROPATSCHEK) BOLT-ACTION REPEATING SERVICE RIFLE, MODEL '1886', serial no. BB71,
circa 1886, with 32 1/2in. sighted barrel, rounded receiver with straight bolt handle, the action body stamped 'OE.F.G. STEYR 1886', a ribboned crown over 'L.I.' and 'M1886', walnut full-quarter stock (repaired at toe) with concealed full-length magazine tube and complete with cleaning rod mounted in channel on the left hand side of fore-end, finish lost to barrel and furniture, overall length 52in.
