circa 1810, with brushed bright octagonal 5in. barrel, Birmingham proofs, yellow metal band at breech, acanthus leaf engraved top-tang, flat slightly curved lockplate with engraved stepped round tail, 'WALLIS' signature below the semi rainproof pan, roller frizzen spring, engraved swan-necked cock, walnut full-stock with 'Durs' style dot and checkerboard bag-shaped butt, guarded trigger with engraved bow and probable replacement iron ramrod, 10 1/2in. overall, weight approximately 1 1/8lbs.
