28in nitro barrels (No.2 reproved), ribs engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS, 63, PALL MALL, ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, double rolled-edge triggerguard, W. Evans and W. Corrie patent single triggers, patent no. 4472 of 3rd March 1905, border and bold acanthus scroll engraving, the undersides with 'EVANS' PATENT SINGLE TRIGGER', retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. stocks (No.1 including wooden buttplate, No.2 probable replacement stock), No.1 fore-end missing finial, No.2 with slight damage to fore-end wood, weight 5lb. 12oz.
