29in. nitro reproved barrels, the ribs engraved 'THE LONDON SPORTING PARK LTD. THE "WATTS" GUN - HENDON' (No.2 refreshed) and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip actions, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best bold stylised acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish overall, 15 1/4in. stocks including 3/4in. rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 15oz. (No.1) and 6lb. 12oz. (No.2)

These guns were given as a present to Major FAV Parker (1913 - 1988) , late Rifle Brigade, by his godfather Admiral Richard Stapleton-Cotton in 1924.

Major Parker used the guns all his life shooting mostly in Devon but also Scotland. He was a very keen shot and excellent fisherman.' They have been in the possession of Capt ABC Dollard (retd) Ex RGJ, since 1988 and seldom used.'
