24in. nitro 9.3x74R barrels with stepped file cut solid top-rib, open sights and ramped bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Swarovski 1,5-6x42 Habicht telescopic sight, serial no. P723527063, in quickly-detachable mounts;
23 5/8in. nitro reproved (in 2018) combination barrels with stepped scroll-engraved solid top-rib, folding open sights and ramped bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a K. Kahles Helia Super telescopic sight, serial no. 131549, in quickly-detachable mounts, the rifle barrel rechambered to .222 Rem from .243 Win, 2 3/4in. shot chamber, bored approx. 3/4 choke, Michelitsch patent action, toplever gold-inlaid '31.7.1973' and with gold line detailing, automatic safety, set triggers, bold Germanic scroll engraving surrounding game scenes carved in high relief of red deer and chamois, the underside with two capercaillie and 'JOH. MICHELITSCH A-9170 FERLACH' and 'PAT. ANGEM', minor repairs at knuckle, blued triggerguard with gold line detailing and gold monogrammed, bright finish, 14 1/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with left handed cheekpiece, hogsback comb, birdshead horn pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, weight 9lb. 3oz. (9.3x74R barrels with scope) and 8lb. 2oz. (combination barrels with scope)
