rebarrelled in antiquity from 50-70, with unsigned 22in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, vertical dropping-block receiver with 1848 patent date, external hammer, serial number to the top-tang, walnut butt-stock, splinter fore-end with single barrel-band and fitted with a saddle-bar to the left hand side with loose ring
