circa 1805, with re-browned London proved 4 3/8in. barrel, small crescent fore-sight, borderline engraved short sighting rib moulded at breech together with an engraved band, standing notch rear-sight to the engraved top-tang, slightly curved flat lock with carved edges signed 'SPENCER, stepped pointed tail, sliding safe behind the hammer, rainproof pan and roller spring, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped but, silver oval escutcheon to wrist, iron furniture and horn-tipped wood ramrod
