circa 1880, with nickel-plated octagonal 3in. barrel engraved with panels of scrolls and a band at the muzzle, applied fore-sight with sighting groove to top-strap, borderline and scroll engraved plated frame, plain plated cylinders with panels of scroll work above each chamber and engraved band to the leading edge, spurred hammer and guarded trigger, smooth ivory grip and engraved and plated heel-plate
