A SCARCE .44-40 (WIN) SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL '1890 ARMY', serial no. WR21940,
(serial no. added later), circa 1891-4, with round 7 1/2in. barrel marked 'REMINGTON ARMS CO, ILION, N.Y.', ejector rod housing devoid of holster guide, solid iron frame marked '.44 C.F.W.', fluted cylinder, chequered and monogrammed hard-rubber grips (some minor damage) and lanyard ring at heel, the whole stripped of finish and with some frosting, together with a later leather holster and belt rig
Other Notes: Only 2,000 of these revolvers were manufactured between the years 1891-93.
