circa 1795, with octagonal to round triple-banded 15 1/2in. cannon-muzzled barrel signed at the breech 'LONDON' (traces of lacquer or possible plating to barrel), iron top-tang with pull-back release catch (frozen) for the concave sided triangular cross-section bayonet with locking loop at muzzle, borderline engraved bevel-edged lock with step tail signed 'H. NOCK', walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle, brass furniture, acorn finial and original horn-tipped ebony ramrod
