circa 1890, with double-edged 14in. needle-point blade with single asymmetric fullers to both sides, small engraved single cyrillic character signature to front of blade, the blade edges and tip artificially blackened, silver niello decorated mounts of traditional form accented by gilded wire applications, the hilt with typical three domed-rivet fixings over formed ivory panels matching the hilt shape and engraved with gold-filled vines, the scabbard en-suite but with tooled leather reverse also having a pocket for a small eating knife, single applied suspension loop and ball finial
