circa 1885, 30 1/8in. nitro reproved (in 1993) damascus barrels (slightly shortened), the rib engraved 'E.M. REILLY & CO. 16 NEW OXFORD STREET. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks, best border and acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name on the lockplates in scrolling banners, retaining slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 13 7/8in. figured stock including steel buttplate, sling swivels, weight 6lb. 14oz.
