with 2 1/2in. octagonal barrel signed by the maker and with dot and geometric line engraving, the solid frame with panels of American scrolls and further lines and dots, similar engraving to the fluted cylinder, the top strap marked 'BULL DOG', single action mechanism with spur trigger, birdshead mother of pearl grips, the whole retaining virtually all its original nickel plated finish
