A FINE CASED 120-BORE BEAUMONT ADAMS DOUBLE ACTION PERCUSSION REVOLVER RETAILED BY JOHN BLANCH, CIRCA 1858, serial no. B7108,
with 4 1/4in. octagonal sighted barrel, the top strap engraved with the retailers legend 'BLANCH & SON 20 GRACECHURCH ST. LONDON', fitted with Kerr's patent lever rammer to the left-side, borderline engraved frame inscribed 'ADAMS PATENT NO 22,752R' and 'B7108', the right-side of frame with bolt safety, five shot cylinder also engraved '22,75R', retaining almost all its original deep blue finish, one piece chequered walnut grips, contained in its original green baize lined oak case the lid with correct John Blanch trade label, accessories include a correct copper bodied flask, double cavity brass mould stamped 'ADAMS REGISTERED DESIGN 1851', nipple key, turn screw, cleaning rods, pewter oil bottle and the original doe skin pouch of percussion caps with a Blanch & Son label
