A VERY FINE, CASED, DELUXE ENGRAVED 54-BORE BEAUMONT ADAMS DOUBLE ACTION PERCUSSION REVOLVER, CIRCA 1858, serial no. 20306R,
with 6in. London proofed octagonal barrel, the flats with double borderline engraving, decorated muzzle and fitted with a blade front-sight, the top flat engraved 'DEANE & SON NO 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE', fitted with Kerr's patent rammer, retaining most of its heat blue finish, borderline and foliate engraved frame inscribed on the right 'B4830 / ADAMS PATENT NO 20306' (Beaumont revolver no. 4830, Adams patent use number 20306), bolt safety, five shot cylinder retaining virtually all of its deluxe colour-hardened finish, one piece chequered walnut grips, contained in its original green baize lined and partitioned oak case, the lid with its correct Deane Adams trade label and two original keys, accessories include double cavity mould, copper bodied Dixon flask, cleaning rod with tools, nipple key with pricker, turnscrew, pewter oil bottle and doeskin bullet bag
