A CASED PAIR OF FLINTLOCK .600 OFFICER'S PISTOLS BY JEFFERY, LYMINGTON, CIRCA 1810, no visible serial numbers,
7 1/4in. octagonal twist-iron barrels, the top-flats signed 'LYMINGTON' (rubbed), bead fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights to the engraved top-tangs, bevel edged locks signed 'JEFFERY' in script below the rainproof pans and with stepped and engraved tails, sliding safes behind the swan necked cocks, rollers to the frizzen springs, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, iron furniture and worm-tipped wood ramrods, in a walnut case relined and recompartmented for these pistols, together with a period powder flask, rammer, scissors ball-mould and other sundry accessories
