A RARE .177 GERMAN TINPLATE 'NOVA' AIR-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1913, with short concealed smooth-bore barrel detaching to load and cupped at the muzzle for corks, conical fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, nickel-plated air-chamber and receiver marked 'D.R.P NOVA D.R.P', tinplate bag-shaped grip with pressed coarse chequering and ring trigger, fair amount of original plated finish remaining
