manufactured in 1905, with blued 4in. tapering barrel (light wear only to bore), blued receiver, brushed bright bolt with long blued extractor, elevating rear-sight marked '100' to '1000' (the last '0' omitted), large ring hammer and old style safe, blued machined frame with integral 10-shot magazine, 32 groove bag-shaped walnut grips with provision for lanyard ring at heel (absent) retaining much original external finish and complete with a period walnut holster stock with number '40089' (probably as supplied), body cracked and repaired with a flush fitting copper band
