A CASED 9mm PINFIRE SIX-SHOT REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'LEFAUCHEUX TYPE', no visible serial number,
Belgian circa 1860, with round in the white 5 7/8in. barrel, the octagonal throat section engraved with borderlines and scroll, arabesques extending along the top of barrel, bead fore-sight on triangular foot, plunge ejector, scroll engraved cylinder with external ratchet locking, borderline and scroll engraved open iron frame, oversize pin-guard, double action mechanism with spurred hammer and guarded trigger, chequered semi saw-handled ebony grips with lanyard ring at heel, in the white finish throughout as supplied and contained within a later wood storage case lined and compartmented for this revolver in green velvet together with a later brass cleaning rod
