Belgian circa 1900, with round tapering 25 1/2in. barrel, raised and matted sighting rib with dove-tailed fore-sight, 'Africa' rear-sight comprising of a folding ladder and a standing notch with four further folding leaves, border and scroll engraved slab-sided receiver with tear-drop cocking indicator and cock / de-cock lever to the right hand side, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock (chips and losses at head), short under-lever with rolled tip, walnut half-length fore-end with cross-key fastener and rounded ebony tip and fitted with eyelets for sling
