manufactured under licence from Remington by Husqvarna and dated for 1877, with blued 18in. barrel, iron nose-cap with integral fore-sight, small elevating ladder rear-sight, slab sided dated and numbered receiver with rolling breech and central hammer, pale walnut butt-stock (some hairline blind drying cracks forming), the left hand side inlet with an 1878 dated '2 Kroner' coin, iron heel-plate, no provision for saddle ring and full-length pale walnut fore-end, some staining throughout
