A 50-BORE PERCUSSION SIDE-HAMMER FOUR-SHOT TURN-OVER PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1835, with moulded hand indexed four-shot squared 4in. barrel-group, carved flutes in imitation of side-ribs, full moulded nipple-guard, borderline and scroll engraved boxlock side-hammer action with guarded trigger, finely chequered pistol-grip butt with white metal escutcheon and engraved white-metal band around the base of pommel with further engraved escutcheon to the flat base
