circa 1870, with slightly tapering London proved 55in. barrel, plain military style semi bevel-edged lock of flint form, tubed and screwed vent to nipple boss, slab-sided hammer, wood half-stock with substantial trigger guard and lower tang, flambeau finial and fore-end drilled through and reinforced for stirrup pintle (included), the whole painted dark olive green
