A GERMAN THIRD REICH RED CROSS SUBORDINATE'S HEWER,
circa 1939, with heavy square-tipped 10 1/2in. saw-backed blade, plate tombak cross-guard with the DRK emblem in an oval (some age cracks forming), plated tombak hilt with flattened pommel and black bakelite chequered grip to front with smooth grip to reverse (mild discolouration to portions of blade), complete with its original black-painted steel scabbard with nickel mounts (dented at tip, minor losses to painted finish)
