circa 1790, with two-stage 14in. barrel with moulded band at the intersection and flared banded cannon muzzle, the top-flat at breech signed 'LONDON', engraved band at rear of breech and solid engraved iron top-tang, flat curving step-tailed lock signed 'THOMAS & STORRS', roller to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock chequered at the wrist, the top of grip section inlet with a brass shield-shaped escutcheon, brass furniture and horn tipped wood ramrod
