A .750 FLINTLOCK MUSKET, MODEL 'INDIA' or 'NEW LAND PATTERN BROWN BESS', no visible serial number,
circa 1815, with 39in. iron barrel, block fore-sight, Birmingham proofs and moulded band at breech, solid top-tang, radiused borderline engraved military lock signed 'TOWER' at the pointed tail and with a 'G.R.' and crown device below pan, hardwood full-stock swollen at the ramrod throat, carved apron around top-tang and fitted with brass furniture, iron stirrup swivels and swollen tip to the iron ramrod
