AN ENGLISH HARQUEBUSIER'S LOBSTER-TAIL HELMET
17th century, with two-piece skull joined along the comb with a rolled edge and an internal tab, hinged visor with three-bar nasal-guard (guard possibly added later), perforated ear-pieces (one leather tab cracked through), and tail of four plates each with rolled edge, fine pitting to all surfaces.
