circa 1880, with blued ovoid 1 5/8in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to rear of top-strap, colour hardened solid frame with side loading gate, blind-fluted blued cylinder, finely chequered ebony semi birds-head grips, folding trigger and pull out central ejector in the cylinder arbor, the whole retaining much original finish, complete with a period purse pouch for same
