circa 1865, with blued octagonal 5in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'T. CONWAY, 15 BLACKFRIARS ST. MANCHESTER' (much finish remaining), borderline engraved solid frame marked 'TRANTER'S PATENT' and with hinged loading gate, plain cylinder, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip, iron pommel-cap with stored ejector rod and guarded trigger (return spring weak)
