circa 1890, with blued 32in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, octagonal breech-section signed 'SPANDAU' (feint), octagonal receiver, straight handled bolt (numbered 7197) with flag safe to rear, walnut full-stock with Imperial inspectors stamps to side of butt, iron furniture, the top-spur of heel-plate stamped '3G.G.R.' over 'E1 23', iron trigger-guard and trigger-plate, two barrel bands and nose-cap with stacking bar and concealed under-barrel magazine, some corrosion to exposed iron surfaces
