A CONTINENTAL HUNTING SHORT SWORD, POWDER FLASK AND SILVER HORN, circa mid/late 19th Century, sword with slightly curved 26 in. single-edged steel blade, shell guard decorated with hunting scenes, antler grip, decorated pommel, together with its black leather scabbard with white metal mounts decorated with scroll-work and hunting scenes, worn, blade stained, blade loose in hilt, scabbard with grazing, chape with denting and damaged drag, 31 1/2 in. overall; flattened horn powder flask engraved with hunting scenes and German script 'Beschau das Ziel und schweige', missing stopper, 9 in., small silver hunting horn, 12 in.
