A .600 MATCHED PAIR OF CONTINENTAL PERCUSSION CONVERSION PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers, circa 1820, probably French, percussion conversions from flintlock, with 3 in. steel rifled barrels, border engraved steel box-locks with 'squared' hammers, drop-down triggers, ribbed and flared wooden grips with white metal butt-caps with hinged shell design trap lids, steel with cleaned pitting, barrelled frozen, the right side of one butt with filler, 8 1/2 in. overall
